Quick Tip: Reset your iPhone’s Dictionary
Sure you’re going to lose some of those not so proper words, but it’s worth it.
This is especially effective if you haven’t done it since you’ve started using your iPhone. The iPhone learns from every keystroke you make, so in the beginning when you couldn’t go 3 letters without completely screwing up, the iPhone […]
iPhone Push Mail
After struggling for hours yesterday to get Yahoo Mail to “Push”, and ultimately failing.. I gave up. I called Apple, Apple had no answers they said it was Yahoo’s fault and contact Yahoo for support.
I did a bit of research and found out the way Yahoo’s Push Mail worked via Push-IMAP aka P-IMAP which […]
QuickShareIt Beta 5? Anyone?
Alright, it’s been a long road. We’re almost at the finish line.
We’ve heard you, we’ve taken into account all of your requests. We believe we have the perfect file sharing solution for OS X.
We want to make sure we got it right this time, so we’re going to start Beta 5 off as a private Beta a week before it’s initial release. We’re aiming to release Beta 5 around the mid-July mark, possibly sooner. We’re going to be giving out private copies of QuickShareIt Beta 5 approximately a week before then to test it and work out any big issues we might of missed while testing it internally. If you’d like to participate in the private beta please email support@twenty08.com with the subject “QuickShareIt Private Beta Participation” with a brief description on how long you’ve been using Mac, you’re experience level with Mac, and what you primarily use QuickShareIt for. We’d like to get a diverse group of beginners to experts to test it out.
Now that we’ve got that out of the way, what’s different? I’ll bore everyone with the technical details upon launch, but first I’d like to officially debut what has been the most requested feature for QuickShareIt.

More information after the break!
RecentlyPlayed for Mac OS X and Facebook
So the Facebook Platform is here.
Like when the AppleTV came out, I just had to do something with it.
So this past Friday Night and Saturday Morning I developed a system to update my Facebook profile with my last 10 play songs in iTunes.
You can download it and use it for yourself at http://apps.facebook.com/recentlyplayed/.
Continue reading after the break if you want more information on how it works.
My Thoughts on the Season 3 Finale of Lost..
If you haven’t seen it yet, spoilers are most definitely contained below…
===========================
That was awesome.
I usually read some spoilers or episode previews each week, but for as long as I can remember, I never let myself read spoilers/previews for the season finale episodes. I’m so happy I didn’t ruin the finale of Lost for […]
Ubuntu ready for Mainstream? Hardly.
After a terrible experience with Ubuntu 6 a few months ago (I struggled to even play MP3’s with it), I was reading rave reviews about the new Ubuntu Fiesty Fawn. In the market to build a Media Center PC, I figured I’d give MythTV and Ubuntu Fiesty Fawn a try, What a mistake that was.
Just […]
HowTo: Align a footer to the bottom of the page in XHTML Strict across all three browsers!
This is a bit tricky to get to work across all three major browsers (internet explorer, firefox, and safari) while following XHTML Strict (this will still work in HTML4 strict as well.).
Most people can get the footer to go to the bottom of the window, however when the content forces the page to scroll but the footer still stays at the bottom of the window, and not the bottom of the page.
AppleTV RSS Plugin Beta 1 Available
We’re releasing another plugin for AppleTV.
This is a basic RSS Feed reader and will read RSS1.x/2.x feeds, it however will not read ATOM feeds at this time. The streams are customizeable from user to user.
First off, here’s the picture of the RSS plugin in action:
Once you download the program below, you’re going to get […]

We’re officially releasing Beta 1 of our Sports Scores plugin for AppleTV. We didn’t include the “Box Score” view as I previously mentioned as it wasn’t ready for prime time just yet.
Here’s some screenshots:
